Antique Porcelain Lidded Jar

This jar could be German and be called Schneeballen ( snowball) or it could be French and by Jacob Petit a famous French Ceramic artist. I bought it as "Miessen Dresden Schneeballen" But sometimes these descriptions are not accurate. Either way, it is wonderful with it's bright red cherries and garland of roses and wacky handles.
A good pot for potions and spices or just plain old sugar.
